Detailed ethical policies are available in the Author Guidelines section on the journal website.
Open Access Policy
IJMCR is an Open Access Journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to users or institutions. Articles are accessible immediately upon publication and may be read, downloaded, and shared globally without subscription fees. This ensures that researchers, educators, policymakers, and the general public can benefit from unrestricted access to contemporary multidisciplinary research.
Repository Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional or subject repositories, or on their personal websites, to promote wider dissemination and citation of their work. If datasets are deposited in public repositories, authors should provide persistent identifiers and repository names in their manuscripts.
Licensing and Copyright
All IJMCR articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This license allows users to remix, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given and derivative works are distributed under the same license. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the publisher the license to publish, archive, and distribute it in all formats.
Plagiarism Policy
IJMCR maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using iThenticate or similar software to ensure originality. Both plagiarism and self-plagiarism are considered serious ethical violations and result in immediate rejection or retraction.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Authors must clearly acknowledge the use of AI tools in any part of manuscript preparation or analysis. Human oversight, judgment, and accountability are essential for ensuring reliability, transparency, and ethical compliance. AI should be viewed as a support tool to enhance, not replace, human research and reasoning.
Digital Archiving and Preservation
To ensure the long-term preservation of published articles, IJMCR partners with recognized archiving agencies (such as Portico or CLOCKSS). These services safeguard the integrity and accessibility of all journal content against data loss or technological obsolescence.
Advertising Policy
IJMCR accepts only advertisements that are professional, ethical, and relevant to academic and research interests. Advertisements related to harmful or unethical products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, discriminatory materials) are not accepted. The presence of advertisements does not influence editorial decisions or imply journal endorsement.
Ahead of Print Policy
To facilitate the rapid dissemination of knowledge, accepted manuscripts are published online ahead of print with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). These articles are citable immediately and considered the final version of record. Post-publication modifications are allowed only through formal errata or corrigenda.
Revenue Sources
IJMCR is a self-financed open access journal. Revenue is generated primarily from Article Processing Charges (APC), which support journal maintenance, hosting, peer-review management, and publication costs. Additional income may be derived from advertisements and print subscriptions. Discounts are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries.
