Information For Authors

International Journal of Multidisciplinary and Current Research (IJMCR)

Overview

All submitted manuscripts are managed through the IJMCR Manuscript Peer-Review Process, a rigorous double-blind peer-review and editorial workflow conducted through a single online platform. Authors, reviewers, editors, and the editorial office collaborate within this system to ensure transparency, quality, and efficiency.

Submission Checklist

Prior to submission, authors must ensure that the following requirements are fulfilled:

  • One author must be designated as the Corresponding Author with complete contact details.
  • The manuscript aligns with the Aims and Scope of the journal.
  • The manuscript is prepared using the official MS Word template.
  • All authors have approved the final submitted version.
  • All required files (keywords, figures, tables with captions and footnotes) are uploaded.
  • The manuscript has been spell-checked and grammar-checked.
  • Permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material.
  • Ethical approval has been obtained for studies involving human or animal subjects.

Manuscript Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal submission portal. The submitting author is responsible for the manuscript throughout submission and peer review, ensuring that all eligible co-authors are listed and have approved the submission.

First-time users must register and complete email verification. Existing users may log in using their credentials or via Google or ORCID ID. Funding information must be provided during submission to ensure compliance with funder requirements.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Title Page Information: Title, running title, author names, affiliations, abstract, word limits, number of tables and figures, and keywords.
  • Author Ethical Responsibilities: Supplementary materials, acknowledgements, author contributions, conflicts of interest, funding source, data availability statement, and citations.
  • Presentation and Format: Proper spacing, margins, page numbering, and adherence to word limits.

Cover Letter

Each submission must include a concise cover letter explaining the significance of the work and its suitability for IJMCR.

  • Journal name
  • Manuscript title
  • Type of manuscript
  • Author full names and affiliations
  • Corresponding author contact details
  • ORCID ID / Researcher profile

Abstract and Keywords

Abstracts must accurately summarize the manuscript (150–250 words) and include the following structured subheadings:

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

References and Citations (IEEE Style)

IJMCR mandates the IEEE citation style. In-text citations must appear as sequential numbers in square brackets, corresponding to a numerically ordered reference list.

In-text citation examples

  • Single citation: The proposed model improves efficiency [1].
  • Multiple citations: Several studies have addressed this issue [2], [4]–[6].
  • Specific page citation: The method was validated experimentally [3, p. 45].
